KADODĒ Kampot Black Pepper - 40g

Background

Black pepper is produced by hand-picking the pepper berry from the vine as it begins to mature, emerging from dark green to slightly yellow. The berries are then dried under the warm Kampot sun. During this drying process the outer husks become hard and black, transforming into the black peppercorns we all know and love!

Aroma

Kadode Kampot Black Pepper has a strong yet delicate floral aroma.

On the Palate

After an initial spicy burst, our black pepper reveals outstanding floral and eucalyptus notes with a smooth depth that lingers on the finish. In a class of its own.

Pepper Partners:

Our freshly ground black pepper is sublime in casseroles and sauces, along with salads, pasta, and a wide variety of meats. It works fantastically well with traditional Cambodian dishes such as Beef Lok Lak with a dipping sauce of freshly ground Kadode Kampot Black Pepper, fresh lime juice, and a pinch of salt and palm sugar. You’ll be amazed at how little you need to add a whole new dimension to your cooking.

All Kadode Kampot Black Pepper is 100% traceable to the farm and farmer who produced it by simply entering its alphanumeric code on our ‘Find Your Farmer’ page.
